I'd assumed all registered players were eligible. Pogas can bowl well when he puts the effort in. Handy with the new ball.
Have to have played a game for the club in the current season.
Rosies got up in a good game by a few runs against Westies. Westies got to needing 20 off 4 overs with wickets in hand but lost 4/0. Last pair got us close but not over the line. Probably should have been the final for the PDCA slot, but when you have top 4 playing in one half and bottom 4 in the other you're going to get the best 2 playing earlier than you should.

But they might not be the top 4 sides in your group, thats just your opinion of who the top 4 sides are, OTH are top at the moment , CU won thru last year in 20-20, cu beat AV and Virginia last 2 weeks, so maybe it was an equal split ? . well done to craigmore, enjoy playing the next round.

The bigger pity though was the absolute disgrace that the Westies lads left for us to tidy up for them, must have been thirsty lads as we nearly filled the ute up with empties.
A word from the wise... Pick the F&^k up after yourselves, we do when we visit you blokes, pretty sure there are some photos that are going to follow.
Oh and well done to Craigmore, always good to get a victory against frothies
Not sure you guys get everything in the bin we provide. Not forgetting the fact we weren't the only people sitting there on the day.
Yeah nice comeback, pretty sure after the first game of the season we stayed and had a beer at you oval, bet you they werent there when we left???

Well done to the boys who represented CCC today.

The draw was also done well before the season began so results from rounds 1 and 2 don't come into it. Either way though, we're out and it makes little difference whether it's this round or the next we don't get to AO. But it was an eyebrow raising decision nonetheless.

Well done to the boys who represented CCC today.
On the contrary my friend. I rate CU as arguably the best limited overs side in the comp - proven by their success in last seasons T20 comp. They are the most athletic and best fielding side in Grade 1, they have some solid bats and some blokes who can hit big and they have a good range of bowlers who can hit line and length to support Woodward and Picton.
For you to defeat them today sings high praise of your clubs effort and raises the eye brow of all who have seen the units in this form..
R&C on the other hand are not a limited overs side, they are a side who can nag away with the ball and have blokes who build innings and play to a structure. Rosies I don't believe before today have gotten past the 1st game in the current SAMCA format.
It is true though that i dont think anyone rated CCC, myself included, and that was merely based on the p!ss poor performances you have thus far dished up in Grade 1 - but you clearly stood tall and prevailed, and i look forward to progressing with your club to the next stage of the comp where hopefully our two clubs can turn it on and combined once again do the PDCA proud ala CU & AV last season..

They are a talented group of young players with a good mix of experience and if you believe you never know what can be achieved.

Not doubting that, but i can only comment on what i have seen and what results have shown.. although i'm still conscious of the fact im pretty sure you started last season bit slowly as well? Difference is this year if you leave your run too late to find form it may be just that - too late...
