Even when the Crows were sitting low on the ladder they would still double the amount of power supporters at a game, the AFL will not make the Crows play 2013 for zero points.

Not quite double but definitly more. You are correct they will not play for no points in 2013. They might start the season at -12 points or something like that. Buts that probably about it really. Other than that there will be draft penalities and fines.

Yeah double was a stretch. Still think that the AFL won't take points off them. Draft penalties and fines IMO but think/hope they don't take points. Even though they said that they would do the deal they didn't and even though they said that they would provide a third party deal may still be hard to prove it happened too. All probably wishful thinking though.

The storm winning the NRL so soon after breaches has caused it massive backlash. The AFL will want to make sure the same thing doesn't happen with the crows. I don't think they will be docked points but massive draft/ trade restrictions and huge fine, also don't expect the crows to get any soft fixtures for the next few years.

They have another one next year if you read the hard luck stories on here. Still nothing has come from this after 2 weeks of investigating and no one has resigned @ the Crows yet. To me there is still more keep in mind I still ask the question why the Crows dobbed them selves in? They'd know this other gear could come out.

PS; I'm not Rowey :)

The Crows didn't dob themselves in.

There is some thought they "dobbed" themselves before another party did it to them.

Re negative premiership points, I personally can't see them starting 3 games behind, maybe only 1, but I doubt that. If I was to guess their penalty, I would say fine of $600,000 (with half that suspended)..loss of first 3 draft picks for this year..and loss of first round draft pick next year.

Id make the crows start with minus 8 points this year and minus 4 points for the Next 2 seasons after that.

Plus a ban from first 3 rounds of draft for the next 3 years.

Any player requesting a trade away from Adelaide in that time will be treated as an unrestricted free agent.

And I'd restrict the max to 95% of salary cap usage over those 3 years.

Plus a $3 million dollar fine.

I'd give Tippett a $100k fine and a suspended sentence. If caught signing one of these deals again minimum 12 month ban from the game

Do the crime do the time.

I'd ban them for longer but Adelaide Oval needs to come into consideration.

Possible outcomes?
1. Nothing proven - no problem for Crows or Tippett.
2. Proven misconduct re payments - Crows fined with part suspended and possible draft pick losses - Tippet reprimanded and/or fined.
3. Add in draft tampering proven - bigger fine for Crows and Tippett suspended.

The rest looks like jealous Power fans' (or other unsuccessful team's supporters') wild erotic fantasies!

Let's wait and see...

I wonder what Carlton fans would have said if it was Collingwood who rotted the cap also. Reckon it'd be a similar situation..... I love the complaining of some people on here about Crows supporters and the club. If you can't see that you're just as bad with your constant carrying on then you have rocks in your head. Yes Adelaide media favors the Crows. But it's peoples opinions and they are no better or less than yours. It's the exact same in Perth with the Eagles.
If you can't live with it then support league as it gets no coverage and no one gives a **** about it ... Then you wont get offended.

As opposed to your open minded and unbiased opinions? As for your penalties keep dreaming because they are not going to cop anywhere near as harsh a penalty.

Could you explain to us simple folk your well thought out logic as to why it wont be so harsh Tex old buddy. This should be good for a laugh.

If the afl is serious about making an example of crows by punishing them severely for their blatant cheating. My penalties will go along way towards that.

Apart from the loss of premiership points whats the difference than what Carlton got. Bearing in mind free agency wasn't around then.
