Nobody is an "automatic selection". All spots are up for grabs. All players are welcome to come out to trainings. Our strongest squad will be chosen from those who are available. These are the facts that people need to deal with.

Yes, I have spoken to PW, but what was quoted by yourself was not within the content of the conversation. And yes, he, along with any other registered C&CCA player, is welcome to attend the trainings.

Wright wouldn't make Rose Park's strongest team. Period.

I'll help u GH as this is my association team Mark II
in batting order

T.Hodson - 30
S.Neal - 32
J.Smith - 25
A.MacDonald - 40
A.Wehrman - 34
P.Atkins - 39
D.Andrews - 35
B.Reidy - 33
J.Clark - 36
R.Zuliamis - 44
A.Gully - 26
12th A.Balding - 49
13th I.Henderson - 50

might as well add the player/coach for the team to... Goatherder - 55

ha, very very old! i have put there ages next to there names! adding the playing coach puts up the average age to what 45??

What about Spry, one of the best young bowlers in the comp!

How preposterous! I take offence in you suggesting that age. There is no way Henderson is 50. We all went to his 50th Birthday party at the Paralowie Clubrooms many years ago.

I think you are right there Cougar, It is a disgrace that the bloke still thinks he can take a spot in front of a younger guy. Hows your batting going at the minute mate? Making a heaps of runs to give the 2 old farts something to bowl at or have u given them as much as Reidy?

Ease up pp, I'm 8yrs younger than Hendo, just had a rough life.. :P  ;)

Michael 'Pidge' Spry will be throwing his hat into the selection ring.

Hangon you've got cougar aged 40 I know that when he played his 400th game of footy this year someone said that he is 45 and was going to play on again next year!

Mozzie, I'm just making up the numbers. I sit up at the non strikers end and watch Wehrman smack them around. Reidy has been good moral support in the 2 games he's played.

tkr, don't believe the hype. I got to 400 games at 38 with little or no injuries, cos those that I played half were on the bench and the other half I spent sleeping in a back pocket. How else could u get to 400 in short time?

Is Reidy looking at the possibility of playing in the B grade mate or just going to get carried thru for a while?

I remember your 400th game as well mate, I got hold of a Beta tape of it. Amazing how much better it looks when u get it transferred to a colour tape from Black and White.

Why isn't Travis Uren playing at Enfield this year? Would make a huge difference to your team.

I heard the real reason he pulled out of that game was because he didn't want to play against his new footy team mates :p :D
