A little birdie whispered in my ear over the weekend that a certain ex coach from the YP who considers himself to be "upfront" and calls a "spade a spade" has been applying for coaching jobs but leaving out a little snippet in his resume.
It seems that he apparently did'nt coach anywhere in 2012. He was just such a good bloke that he helped out for half a season until they found a coach.

So he should...I have seen him at his best when fully committed and he is very good..3 yrs ago he played state amateur footy and by reports should have got the medal for b.o.g, played in the indigenous game at footy park before the crows game and starred, won a div2 flag and again starred in that game, r/u b&f by a bee's dick. All in one season and by the ripe old age of around 21...

Kid can play..

Wow...cream cheese??? not sure where your getting your info champ but your way off the mark.

I applied at west croyden by email (which i still have and can produce) and explained the situation to them exactly how it was..Upfront. and stated I was happy to elaberate further if interviewed. Trevor Stanbury is the man at WC if you want to check that out.
I also applied at Hope vally and yes although didnt put as much detail as my first app but that was for two reasons. One I didnt apply to both jobs till very late so did rush things and secondly i thought i would take a different path and wait to see if interviewed for the HV job but had every intention of explaining my 2012 season...And anyone that knows me know this to be 100% true...I have many many friends in footy and every person knows how the 2012 season finished for me because i dont hide from the truth and their opinion of me hasnt changed.

And porky pie....mate I have never claimed, written, or stated anything of the sort about not coaching or just helping out....As far as my resume goes it hasnt been left out...as I said due to my late application to HV job in particular I hadnt updated it. i knew they would ask if interviewed where I coached this yr and i would have told them exactlly. I would rather not get the job by being truthful than getting the job being dishonest....Anyone knows me knows what i stand for...im not sure if I know you "cream cheese"????????

Hmm just overlooked updating hey??
Just took a call from my little birdy, you give us the impression on here you were not interviewed for the Hope Valley position but infact you were.
When quizzed about Ardrossan you said and i quote " I was just helping out a club that was struggling until they found someone to take the job permanently, my heart was not really in it. They found someone later in the season so i left them to it."
The club took this at face value but raised their eyebrows when Ardrossan advertised for a coach again. Why would you advertise for a coach again if six weeks before the end of the season you had just appointed a new permanent coach.
After a little research Hope Valley established you were the coach and you were sacked/resigned two thirds the way through the season.

Needless to say HV were quick to put a line through your name.

My thoughts too Mr Beefy. I don't mind a sledge but Cream Cheese you are out of line here mate. I don't know either of you but if Willow gets the arse from a coaching position and puts in for other jobs good on him I think. You bringing up this stuff hurts Hope Valleys credibility( and your source) plus kicking a bloke when hes down publicly is poor form. Give him a break. Get his phone number off your source and thrash it out if you got personal issues with him!

I have to agree gentleman. This is ordinary form at best Cream Cheese and I would go as far to say its 'trolling'. Let the man move on.

Reflects very badly on the HVFC and the source from the interview panel.

Yep, future coaching prospects to HVFC better be aware that what gets said in the interview process will be broadcast publicly!

Cream cheese your source or yourself is looking pretty silly right now...I can tell you now there was no interview and certainly no conversation took place like you stated...Never!!!!! I applied on the tuesday of the last week it was advertised and got a phone call on the friday night from a very nice man who politely explained they (HV) were targeting a playing coach from Broadview and were hoping to have him signed by the end of that weekend. I thanked him for the call and wished them all the best as i always do he thanked me for applying and again apologised for not giving me an interview and that was the end of the call... No impression, No interview or conversation mate!!!!

And to tell you how it is.... I was sacked mate so a little more research on your behalf before dribbling shit on here might stop you and HV looking like twats...(or should I say some individual from HV rather than tarnishing a good club)

Man i just read your stupid comments again and you really are a nut or your info is coming from one!!!!! Space cadet....

Good to see some sanity prevailing boys and very well said..I thank you for your intelligent comments....And the interview panel at the HVFC shouldnt be reflected that way cause there was no panel nor Interview.

Enough said about "CC"s crap.... :roll

And well said....If you like email me here and I would love to give you my phone number so we can meet up for a chat and clear up some of yours and your sources miss givings...Otherwise close your mouth a slide back to where ever it was you crawled out from..

Now enough said...

It's West Croydon & Hope Valley, pretty important bit's of info if you are looking coaching one of them.

Yea fair call LMc and a valid point..and WC already knew through my email....My point was given that the season had only just finished and I wasnt sure if i wanted to go around again i left my application to the last min...As much as the resume is important it dosnt speak out circumstances so the most important thing is the interview process which I have never before and never would not disclose the truth. If you go into that process lying and attempting to hide things just to get the job then that would be dishonest...And I have never got anything in life dishonestly!!! Thats how i lay my head at night mate and the reason my friends trust me like they do. now please everyone lets move on to more important things...Like who is coaching, recruits, etc.....
