Na Fianna vs Port - Na Fianna don't lose 2 in a row very often, and can't see it happening this week.

Irish vs Flinders O'Neills - hopefully we are up and about to get the points

Onkas vs St Brendan's - onkas only cause well they hardly ever lose, but the saints to run them close

Not sure there is one but the most i have seen is 12. Any more than 10 though and you dont get much of a run

21 is the answer...players must also not just put their name on the sheet but must enter the field of play to be eligeble .

I have seen GFHA of SA legend Patty McGuiness put his name down and start on the field at age 70 something to avoid the occurence of a forfeit for your club and shuffle off upon commencement. I think this is a great example of why your club is the oldest and whilst not littered with trophys in recent years has blokes like that who will ensure you will always be there. 22 years since my first State league game and Patty was there as manager.

Then there is the other side of the equation where a player has kitted up to qualify for finals and not played. No doubt that club with its for hire mercaneries and poaching will be a power house again this year as they lose respect from all the old school Gaelic types for there win at all cost attitude and lack of respect for the good of the competition. Now this post is going to annoy that club and some of my friends at that club will be dirty on me. Who cares!!! You have poached 3 key players from other clubs in recent years and thats just your mens team.

Needed to be said...all the clubs i have spoken to are thinking it and due to the fact that i get paid to comment in my various sporting capacity in 3 different forms of media i figured i,ll put it out there and be the voice of the voice less. They really are reminding me of that team from 2007. The only difference is at least the Titans were in your face and not sly do it behind your back types.

Having said all that its not fair to besmirch a whole club for the actions of some of their senior leaders as there are some fine young footballers and people in that club but things like poaching, the behind the play hit on Sunday and a couple of other worrying things are seeing this club become a worry. They dont appear to want to be the team to beat in a strong thriving Gaelic comp but a team that wants to smash the comp.

It's been a struggle to survive with increased fees and lack of players but we will continue to stck it out and we will be around in another 30 years

I wouldn't say the team you describe are unbeatable...you guys showed it can be done and from a neutral point of view you were very unlucky not to beat them in the final last season

Looking forward to our first game on Sunday with a full squad of 21 for the first time I can remember

I will have my strap on Lutzy but i dont believe there will be a trainer. If you have the tape though you are more than welcome to come into our rooms. I think one of the guys can strap.

It is 11 for 7-a-side have played against a team uing 12 but that was one of the minors teams so we had no issue with them giving some extra kids a run. Mind you when they interchanged they were taking off 5 players so only one guy and the keeper stayed on. Agree that more then 10 and you will not get much of a run.
