Nah no cricket for me...just watched some B grade today (which was not good results wise for us).

How did you go mate? Bat 11 and keep? ;)

I see the Hornets got rolled for 51 in their second dig vs Pooraka!

Masha did I hear you took over football or cricket at brahma recently?? Spoke to someone who seemed very happy you were in the role.

Pooraka did roll Para Hills for 51, Travis taking 5/23 in second dig. They had lost one of their players mid week to. Shoulder injury, so only had to get 4 wickets yesterday. Dont count para hills out tho. 5 players out one who took 30 wickets last year, they have the comps best spinner and one of the best bats in T Wordsworth. Look for them to bounce back and be in finals come next year.
The secret impresses no one. The trick you use it for is everything.

seen a bloke be given out for handling the ball in our game yesterday. First time in my career I have ever seen that. The ball popped up and was on the way down near the stumps when he turned around and stuck his hand out and deviated the balls path.

Yeah mate president for footy next year, have to stand down as c grade coach though due to working commitments.

I heard someone mention pooraka, and he said "the best side ever assembled in Adelaide turf". Big call early in the year, but some impressive names in your first 11! Long season though. Agreed about Travis Wordsworth, a very good bat and will be around the mark with the leading run scorers come season end.

Seems nothing can slow Jamie Sibbick. The mans a machine!

probably going to be the case with some teams in A3, some have the depth, some dont. Wont be the only two outrights this season i would think. But yes, you wouldnt see that too often in the first round. Some teams would have worked harder in the preseason.

Witnessed a few incidents on the weekend which, had one of the parties involved been of another race or ethnicity, would hqve definitely been classed as racism. It didn't offend me (I actually found the attempted sledge quite U/15 ish) or the player targeted, but it was just interesting to hear.

Not related to this incident, but I am also finding a lot more players are likely to bite while being sledged while batting. Is it just me or are the majority of cricketers a bit more precious nowadays.

Whats the rule with the ATCA 15 and 25 year life members? Do they have to be consecutive?

Yeah, going to be a few of them in A3 with Gabb now back playing real cricket for you boys rather than bashing up on the poor helpless individuals just trying to have a hit down in LOD.

There was also a tie in B2, not often you'd see that.

The worst part was when he stood there disputing it after being given out by his team mate.
