Are they going to have "Stella" embedded in the left side of the "V" and "Homes" in the right? as Glenelg has with Gliderol within the sash??
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Spot on with that Dutchy. 2 parts to it - the last minute withdrawl of Mistral last year and with Stella Homes coming on board late didn't give much of a chance to re-design the jumper especially as there is an approval process to go through with the SANFL. The other part is that the club and supporters were very pleased with the '71 / '72 retro juimper design so the club is going to most likely adopt that V which is higher up the jumper and allows the Stella logo not to be blurred as it was this year splashed across the V.

You'd love that, wouldn't ya Dutchy ;)

Eddie's brother plays for Kadina over there, as do good mates Cam Faulkner and Willi Searle.

I spoke to Ed at the B&F tonight and he said he hasn't even spoke to the club yet about about next year.

Will be doing that next wefk and wants to play SANFL again 2013.

for a 40k sign on in each 2012 and 2013, plus 400 a game I'd be going there too!

For the Eagles sake, I hope the ankle holds up; with 80k garanteed regardless of games or performance!

Joel Tippett expected to be back at Westies next year unless drafted by an AFL side:

While I don't necessarily think we should have gone down this path, it is done, we have to back the powers-that-be judgment and hopefully it will be a positive for us, although a lot will be expected.
Interesting to read his comments in the member email that he wanted to come to the Eagles to play finals footy. IMO, at this stage, South are more likely to play finals that the Eagles next year.

Good to hear about MacKenzie. Probably can't expect too much for a year or two, Kirk obviously a 2-3 year proposition in between-times. Hopefully he will join with some of our promising u/18 around which our success in a few years time will be built.

Not surprised about the signing of Ainger but I am with the signing of Carey. This is now the second lot of South players that have negoitiated as a pair in recent times, albeit the Boyd's are brothers.

The clearance fee will be interesting. It must already be agreed upon and I'M thinking 25K for Ainger and 5K for Carey. The winner of this is CASLEY who now gets a run at the spot. He was a highly sought after recruit last year who missed plenty due to hammy's and ended up down back.

Why would you want him, likely to cry because he he misses his brother and will demand to be traded to the Sydney comp.
Be funny if he does stay, cant wait to see the abuse hurled at him by the Cows fans
