What do members think of Callum Wilson joining Port Adelaide?

How is his trial form? Will he have impact at Port?

I thought after his finish to 2010 he was going to get more of a chance at West Coast in 2011 but didnt due to Kennedy,Lynch and Darling playing well.

What do members think he needs to do to get back on an AFL list?

I'm a West Coast and Woodville-West Torrens supportor but Ive always been a fan of this kid/bloke and want to see him go well.

Get there tonight and have a look first hand. Don't think conditions will be good for him though. If preseason form is anything to go by he should kick 70 goals plus. Has been having about 10 shots on goal each game.

He certainly works very hard. As mentioned has been having lots of shots at goal, is actually quite good when the ball is on the ground.

Will take some stopping this season

25 goals from 15 League games was a poor return, considering the preseason hype...

I have heard good things about him, and I hope for Port's sake (and his own) that he has a ripper next year. I wonder how Port is going, recruitment wise? But I suppose that's a question for another thread...

No great loss for Port, came with huge wraps but appeared to be lazy and disinterested.
The money Port would of wasted on him would be much better spent elsewhere

Solly apparently has signed with Salisbury North, Mercer and Stanley with Gawler Central. That's the mail I've got.

Sounds like Port Magpies concending they will be turned into the Power Reserves in the near future and out of the SANFL given how many players are jumping from the ship?
