But anyway...!! Has anybody got any best and fairest results from any of the clubs? I assume most if not all would have been counted by now. Also I do believe Ports are still looking for an A grade coach to replace Matt Ganley, but are all the other coaches staying put? All bar Matt were in their first season as coach this season so I suspect that is the case.

Souths Gun Combo of Margatich/Schmidt finished miles infront in the count. Big Al won by a few votes in the end.

Is that Lindsay Bearman? He's been linked to Crystal Brook for 2013 - did you know that one nomad?

That would be him. Him leaving Sollies would be like Julia letting Kevin back into the PM seat. Ryan Hoare has announced that he is returning to where it all started for him as well. Cats are heading in the right direction at the moment.

That not beyond the realms of possibility, Rudd getting the PM gig, also when does a fringe A grader at best get to announce that he is returning to a league, Sollies already have enough 'outside' players in their A grade, South exposed that in the GF.

From what I saw Hoare was a fringe 'A' grade player at the Brook but I reckon Sollies would be very happy to have him back.

He will fit straight back in at Globe Oval no worries. He would have held his place in Crystal Brook's A grade premiership side if it wasn't for the internal turmoil that rocked the footy and netty sides over winter.

He was fairly entrenched in the 'B's before all that happened, I am sure Joel Head would pick sides on merit not on whats happening between the bed sheets.

FFS Lions & SGL get your collective heads out of your arse and get over to the Northern Areas and see how a GF should be run, with double the crowd Pirie had on the weekend, security actually patrolling the WHOLE of the ground, keeping it as family friendly as possible, not having to put up with senior colts lads sitting in the back of utes with the F's & C's flying for all to hear, not a good PR for the SGL at all.
Phew got that of my chest, could go on but only repeating what people have been saying for years.

You guys in the nothern areas footy league have always been sooks. you are the poor cousins 2 the great north eastern league. leave other leagues alone and worry about your players being poached 2 play in more esteemed leagues

Think you will find Footy music is an SGL man Cheetah, just saying the Northern Areas GF day is better run than the SGL GF was run.

 I like it!
Ryan will be good back at the Cattery. Ive been mates with him
for years and I know that he was just happy playing B grade even before the bust up. I beleive he is better suited to open SGL footy anyway than the tight defensive Northern Areas League.

Now Ports don't have to pay SMurphs cricket coaching salary the football side will get a massive increase in spend.

I cant see any team getting close to the green and white next season.
