God I hope not. Yes he had a very good season this year.

But we need MIDFIELDERS Godden. MIDFIELDERS!!!! No matter how many 'Aingers' we get, if we cannot attract one quality midfielder to the club I will consider the eagles recruiting a complete and utter failure. It has been the one constant that has been needed over the past 5 seasons yet the people involved seem to do everything back that. And Godden is still deluded and believes we are not a slow club. Well I guess every eagles supporter is wrong......

True, but not that he was heading to the Eagles. Just a bad joke for South supporters to not look back in Ainger at him leaving the club.

Eagles are confident on Ainger and Carey. Also close to signing former Collingwood midfielder Jaxson Barham to add some pace.

Eagles offering over the top $$$ apparently to lure players to Oval Avenue. This was supported by the comments the SAFC made publically re the departure of Ainger and Carey who obviously played the Panthers off against the offers they received. North not even in the ball park vs. what the Eagles are goign to pay them according to my sources.

Eagles might be joining one other club under the microscope currently re it's Salary Cap justifications?

They would have some room in the cap with a raft of recent retirements, though?
