Let us hope that this remains a div 2 forum and not a Portland and Port Districts one like 2012.
Maybe blokes like yourself should contribute a bit more then FF. I guess there wasn't much worth writing home about at Walkerville in 2012.
Although unsuccessful both our B's and C's played in their respective Grand Finals. The A grade had a run of injuries to key players and were a little unsettled all year losing around 7 games within 2 kicks. With another season passing it should ease the struggle we have had with the points system also. Walkies are a strong club with excellent depth. They pay only a handful of players who earn their money by running trainings etc. We have been in Division 2 for 3 seasons now and with a B grade that has played in a grand final for the past 5 years in a row. To me this is a great foundation for the years ahead to have some success in our A grade.
Unlike Port Districts and Portland, there is no need for Co#k measuring on a public forum for most other clubs.

Barry Dawson has been attracting some good offers & good $$$$ to coach & assist, get the feeling he might end up with his mate in that car.

Do you know for certain who Brocky is ?
Brocky could be Malcolm Blight for all you know so to ascertain that he knows nothing about the game because he doesn't give a shite where Hosie goes, is ridiculous.
There's probably a lot of people on this forum that don't give a crap what he's doing.

Michael Doughty who just retired from AFL footy, playing with the fruit tingles, is the big, big inclusion for next year in the midfield. Big pick up for the mighty Districts side. Makes for a great midfield with Doughty, Sampson, McDowell, Smitham, Higgs and Gates getting hand fed by one of the best big men in amateur football, in Reid Beeching. Instead of every club trying to tag Sampson, then Doughty will be the man. Hard for anyone to match up on any player with an engine that big in D2 or D1. Port District and Kilburn, along with Gepps X and SHOC, with so many returning players, are the big four teams, all with so many very good players.
District and Kilburn appear to be the really classy teams though.
