Im looking forward to the apologies IF he now quits!

To summarise, from my post on here, Westies people believe -

> "Dozens" of media outlets jumped on the rumour
> It made the Advertiser
> Others posted it on numerous other forums
> It upset the wife of their Football Manager

If you believe I am responsible for all that then this place is much more powerful than we think!

I put it to them that the rumour was all around the town on Friday and it did not come solely from here/me.

I will apologize on behalf of all West supporters Dutchy.

It was only 2 weeks earlier when it was reported that Roy Laird had quit by a poster on here. Wasn't anywhere near as many tears.

Strong arming the Legs for a better deal? I was under the impression he had decided not to go to the AFL now.

No, it was an incorrect post. Dutchy clearly believed it was true.

the reaction to it by some on here has been way over the top, no point getting your knickers in a knot over someone posting something they thought was fact.

FFS we constantly deal with rumours - thats what makes the site/discussion interesting! What about all these trade rumours - not one gives a flying kick in the nads about them!
