Gotta love those Redbacks - they seem to have no problems dismissing the top order then let the lower middle and tail go beserk. Queensland were on the mat early but the last score I heard was 8 for 300+.

Someone must've told Blewey that it was the 2nd innings...he's never in this long in the 1st innings.

Rain washed out all of day three. Day four will generate into a battle for first innings points. Blewett to make a ton.

SA declared overnight...then had QLD reeling at 5/99 before they declared...at present, we're 0/11 chasing a further 342...given that it's the last day...we won't win, but I only hope we don't bat cautiously and throw our wickets away.

Should be seen as a perfect opportunity to spend some time out in the middle.

Hopefully Elliott and Blewett get some runs...and if given a run, Fergie needs to find some 04/05 form too.

That means we have thrown away the chance of any points.

Yes, I don't agree at all with Lehmann's decision to declare overnight.

I think we had a much better chance of scoring 254 with 7 wickets in hand in a full day, than scoring 353 in just over two sessions...

They will probably say it was done to create "interest" in an otherwise dead game, but that is beside the point - there is no crowd there to watch it, and the 2 first innings points could have been very handy! :(

But who knows, now that I have written this we will probably go and get the required runs to win!

Who cares. A non outright in the wet to these two sides is just another factor that is a stepping stone to the eventual retention of the Moo Moo cup by the mighty NSW Blues.

Go the Blues...until footy season starts that is.

I was somewhat surprised with the decision to hand QLD first innings points...

We're 1/40 at lunch...highly unlikely in 2 sessions we can score the necessary 300+ to snatch outright, especially with their bowling attack of Bichel, Kaspa, Johnson and Hauritz...

Fergie is giving NO indication that we're playing for a win...

She's 3/155 now...highly unlikely we can get the runs...

REB,C'mon mate,we were 44 runs from 6 points, and spent half the afternoon going along at 3 runs per over!

Just because the Australian recruiting unit, sorry,New South Wales has had a good start,no need to be degrading.
