Auto i cant think of 5 from last seasons winning grand final team that were not playing Saturday,
Reidy, Riddle, Bruce Gordon, Spud and Ralph.

Plus the biggest fish played B grade to teach the art of cricket to some younger guys, O Gorman

Sorry Auto as Riddler pointed out Sparrow didnt play as well on sat from last seasons grand final team and Bills will play soon. So i guess u can say from the team Sat there is prob 7 guys to come into the team.
There was only 4 or 5 guys that played Sat from last seasons team

7 is probably overstating it a bit. Riddle and Bruce-Gordon are both "retired" and there is a rumour that Ralphy needs a knee reco when he gets back from holiday so he could be out for the season too. Having said that we have some recruits that look capable of filling their shoes.

Saturday was the first I had heard A Roling will not be playing for Fitzroy this season, he is a quality player and his experience would have been very useful in the middle order on Saturday.

The Riddler wrote:From what I saw (which wasn't a great deal to be honest) on the weekend Fitzroy seemed to value their wicket more with the bat than last season and have some good experience in the team.
Had a good foundation at drinks to build a big total. I didn't see them bowl however. There not that bad IMO and should still push to play finals.

I'm not sure Aaron Rolling is part of Greg Matthews plans.

This comp looks like it has 3 clubs playing for top spot and 3 clubs playing for 4th spot. Can anyone work them out? Not rocket science

Morialta should be up as Enfield looks in for a long season.

Why wouldn't A. Roling be a part of his plans?
He's twice the player matthews ever was. Handy player, good lad.

Morialta should be up but just goes to show that it helps having
members of your club on the exec. ;)
