i know battams got done for swearing at the goal umpire(goal umpire gave a goal that was clearly a point) - u'd think he'll probably get off. not sure what happened with millikan though.

Surely not worth going to the tribunal for, a warning would have been suffice and if he done it again maybe a yellow.
Is this what our game is coming too

well 2 of our guys(hectorville) got sent of for just aruging/disputing with the umpires- they didnt even swear. some of these umpires are just ridiculous. i know its only div 6 but some of these umpires don't even know the rules. last week we got a free kick against us for havin too many in the centre circle but the umpire hadnt even thrown the ball up yet- wat a joke!

We've got the North East Football Challenge Cup running this year which is sponsored by Homestead Homes. Its a aggregate points system for As and Bs out of the games played between our club, Golden Grove and Houghton throughout the year. The winner gets $1000 and something like 15 cartons of beer. 1st leg is this week between us and Golden Grove on Sat night. Should b interesting

One of our blokes had a 100 metre (2 x 50m) penalty paid against him on the weekend because the umpire felt threatened by him and thought he was going to hit him, our guy did not say anything to the umpire not a word, no swearing or nothing i kid you not just looked at him.
These blokes are a joke and watch too much AFL on TV!

We have A's, B's, and C's all playing up there against Golden Grove this Saturday night. C's are at 2:15pm, B's at 4:15pm, and A's start at 6:15pm - should be good. And as valleys01 said - $1000 for the most points across the season, but from what I understand, each of the 3 clubs have put in 20 cartons each, so 60 slabs goes to the winning club at the end of the year. Should make good for the footy trip!!

My tips are

Mitchell Park
West Croydon
Blackfriars
Heccies
Valleys

60 Cartons??? Even if you split that between say A’s B’s and C’s that’s still almost 1 carton per person
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

60 cartons is enough incentive for me to get a few extra kicks! Always love free alcohol![/quote]
