Norwood vs Claremont

Postby FOURTH ESTATE » Sun Oct 07, 2012 4:58 pm

Would Norwood & Bassett be prepared to take on Claremont in a Premiers challenge????
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Wouldn't be fair; Claremont players would have been on the turps for the last fortnight.

OTOH, that might even things up a little...

Plus Claremont players might still be fatigued from playing three extra games in the Roxtel Cup compared to the Nwd blokes!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Play it as a pre-season game before the season starts.

considering SANFL clubs have double the salary cap and take the best of the VFL such a match would never be an even contest.... unless restricted to local players only - then Claremont would blow Norwood away

Yes, Norwood's dominance of a competition with double the salary cap of the WAFL's was based almost exclusively on the involvement of their AFL listed players. :?

It is not a criticism of Norwood. They are just a better resourced club in terms of recruiting. WAFL relies a lot more on local players than the SANFL.

What a ridiculous post - the only time Norwood would give the Swans a run and be close would be if they entered the playing arena at the same time!
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.
