Great innings by Christian. Every other wicket. Pathetic. No excuse. Was painful to watch. Trust me I watched the whole run chase!!!!!!!

SAT AND WATCHED THE WHOLE GAME AT ADELAIDE OVAL ON A GLORIOUS DAY AND IT WAS A GOOD GAME OF CRICKET 8)
No need to bag SA on that one. If Lauglin is a half a second slower or doesnt have such good reflexes at the stumps Haberfield makes his ground and Dan the man needs 2 to tie off the last ball.
Tassie did have Ponting, Cowan, Payne, Cossy, Bailey, Zav, Krej and Laughlin who have all played for Australia.

ITS ALWAYS DISSAPOINTING TO LOSE BUT OUR FORM OVER THE LAST 3 YEARS IN THE SHORT FORMS OF THE GAME HAS BEEN GOOD. A competition win in each. Proud to say i was at both of them and hope i can be at another one at some stage in the next year or two.

No arguments from me on our Shield team/game plan/stratergy/mindset/tactics and application does need a complete overhual. Today though it just felt like Tasmanias experience allowed them to stay cool in a crisis and under pressure instead of feeding Dan strike 3 or 4 guys made some pretty average shot selection and it did cost us.

Still....anyday watching the Redbacks in either form of the shorter forms is better than a day at work :)

I wouldnt say he is here for the coin only Jim and im also not saying he is the right selection or aggreeing with his appointment.

From what I hear he is a pretty good bloke, absolute cricket nuff (loves everything about the game) and is straight edge (religious and doesnt drink). Always works hard at training and puts alot of pressure on himself to perform.

I dont think anyone can bag him for yestys game. 3 fa 40 odd of 13 with their batting line up is a solid effort. the golden globe, well crickets a sh*t sport when your not hitting them well......trust me

for me, the bigger issue were the lower order having abosultely NFI how to bat in the situation and why the feck was Jake No 11. He's coming off a 50 againt WT where he put Georgy back over his head a few times. He is clearly a better bat that Worral who wasted 5 balls. Jake if very capable of a few singles and batting how our lower order should have.

Lyon - WTF was he thinking. gets a life, then tries to ramp the next ball  also the shot to get out on was shizen
Worral - there was a picture of a spud floating around on the Johan thread - please apply to this blokes batting

Ahem, did you not read the scorecards from round 1? Frankie Worrall also scored a half century when the game was on the line. I admit he was overshadowed by Stiffy Qadir but still got the job done.

Snake was part of a 100+ run partnership for the 7th wicket to win the game against Peter George who everyone is crying about not being selected. Im standing by my spud comment as I can only go on what I see  and it was embarrassing to watch Worral face those 5 balls

We picked the wrong team. If haberfield was only going to bowl 3 overs, his selection seemed useless. Better option would have been Doropolous.

I doubt his selection was purely to bowl 3 overs. Id suggest he didnt bowl as required so the skipper didnt bowl him. I thought he bowled to short and straight

No doubt, but I thought at the start of the game our tail was to long tho. Is Kane Richardson fit, would say he would be reasonably pissed about Worrall walking into the side.

Worrall had a good pre season,by all reports and has been rewarded with inclusion with the squad for all games this season.

Was interesting to watch on foxtel and listen to the interviews with Tim Paine throughout the innings. He was so confident that if they could get a couple early they would roll is. Also took the piss out of our boy fergy. Even the commentators were laughing at his inability to play Faulkner.

Why else is he here?
Not here to try and get back into a test side.
Would rather the money be spent on a Smith or Khawaja who are busting their gut to get back into the test side.
