Vics never in doubt with Siddle at the crease. The great man just passed his 50. Wade on 70, these two have put on 105 for the 7th wicket and the Vics lead by 25 runs

What a man Siddle is. Gun!!!
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Good to see Patinson in good form with the ball. Its pretty useful bowling attack the vics have. Going to be hard to beat this year.

Yes, they sure do. Pattinson, Siddle, McKay and Hastings are all quality Sheffield Shield bowlers and all had good figures against Queensland. Victoria probably just lack a real quality first class spinner, but Holland goes ok.

Marcus North has stood down as captain of Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers, citing his own struggle for form as a key reason for his decision

I think this is a big part of his decision also. He looked very disappointed with himself in an interview on FOX recently and he put his hand up as captain when talking about the Marsh boys. He's probably just had enough and wants to concentrate on his cricket.

Dean Jones bags the Hobart curator for producing terrible pitches, who turns around and has a go at Deano saying he has no right to criticise him!

Tas v Qld

Tas 8/90

Jones 1, curator 0
