Probably too ambitious in the footy season anyway.

I was going to suggest in between the footy and (regional) cricket seasons, but it appears some cricket associations commence on same weekend as the SANFL Grand Final.

Another option then may be a week before xmas when there may be a week off for local sporting (cricket/tennis/bowls etc) competitions.
