Not a lot of talk about coaches but I'm sure the new prez is onto it, just know that there is no way smelty would be in the mix. But who wouldn't want to coach us? Coming of a flag with a couple ex locals to return to bolster the a's, plus Barras to return from injury

Just hope whoever coaches doesn't want much $ as coming of 8 years with local coaches, we aren't used to spending cash

Personally, you thought they would have learnt with getting players who play every 4 weeks. Squire, Younie etc have not contributed at all.

Yates and company are having a crack at it this year from what I hear. Clayton will be amazing and a genuine sanfl star capable of adapting to country footy.

Will be interesting to see how Clayton enjoys the RMFL umpiring :)

edit: would make sense for the Roos to have another go at the flag, next year. Their under 17's aren't great at the moment, so that help them much in next 2 or 3 years. So if they could hold onto the majority of their 2012 squad, that sounds wise. In perhaps 3 or 4 years time they may need to rebuild with some of their younger juniors at the moment, who are a bit better (as far as premiership standing) than their 17's.

Any word on the Tailem coaching job yet? Will be a tough gig if its true Nick Wark is heading to Unley.
