Abbott did not even mention his name and actually said the government...

Tend to agree scoob. They should have cut him loose today and I reckon their failure to do so is going to cost them big time...scoob wrote:In one breath they accuse Abbot of sexist comments and then the next they vote slipper to remain as speaker after all the sexiest things he has done... Hypocrisy at its finest.

It should be pointed out that, according to this article the carbon tax will only account for around a quarter of the electricity price rise.Sojourner wrote:...the affects of the Carbon Tax are just starting to be felt, as families and small business receive their winter electricity bills.

If he isn't agreeing with Jones, he's certainly using the word to remind Gillard of the hurt that's been caused by it. Using the word once, you might not question. Using it repeatedly is aiming for a target. If you don't think so, I believe you're either naive or too one eyed to care.

Spot on. Abbott doesn't do anything by accident. A deliberate statement by a mean spirited person.

Well according to your side of the political world, he has made many accidents in his political career.
I think this was a minor "slip of the tongue".

What a joke this whole Jones thing has been. As Southee said, nothing but a distraction to Gillard's failures.
