Congrats to Norwood - by far the best team this season and deserved the flag.

Our group spent most of the last half in the Members Stand discussing which team was the worst team to play a GF in the past 40 years and narrowed it down to South'79 and Westies 2012 - we gave the nod to todays West team - simply the worst team to ever play in the big one - they simply had no idea. South in 79 had no luck with the weather and North in 89 despite kicking 1 goal at least kicked the ball forwards !

Gotta love the idiot who got evicted at the 14 minute mark of the first quarter from the top grandstand in the members...must of been a dickhead judging by the ovation received on his way out!

West were disappointing today, as they were two weeks ago, but at least u made it, also clearly the second best team this year.

Amazed at how many Dogs fans are whining, geez get over it... ending the Dogs dominance is what the league needed.

Anyway, not all GFs are show pieces, but if you win, its sweet regardless.

15 years is a long freakin time and I'd seriously wondered if I'd see another flag in my lifetime!

Was seriously worried at 1/4 time because I thought Westies were up and about, and I'd wondered if we were an experienced enough team to settle and lift our intensity.

Commiserations to the Bloods & their fans, you've come a long way and I can see you going further.

Was a terrible game in terms of a spectacle, but there's more (quite a bit) of it to come I reckon.
