Chants of "Gibbsy's a w**ker" all day.

Ross turned to us and smiled, turned back around to drop his dacks and give us the big "brown eye".

A great moment!!!

He did the same thing at Mt Compass Oval when playing country footy, about 10 years later.

Yeah I thought it was quite funny as I seem to remember he was having problems with his weight or drinking at the time?

My mate yelled out to Grenville D just as he was trotting in to kick for goal :
" Have you got a half dozen stubbies under you jumper Deitch .... or is that your GUTS ???!!! '
GD stopped mid stride and had a chuckle ... then went back and slotted the goal.

Best spray I heard of Richard Williams was one day as a neutral taking photos at Noarlunga. The South cheersquad on the outer wing were going off at Richard abusing him and calling him everything under the sun. I noticed something was wrong and checked my budget, Richard was umpiring at Alberton. I didn't have the heart to tell them.

That's a lie, South don't have a cheer squad...

"Squad" is a plural term.

Love how these Bays supporters love putting us down on here, cause even though we struggle, they hardly get to do it on game day. Not as often as they should anyway, losers....

Played against Neville "Rocky" Roberts one day he was doing his usual trick of hovering over the ball ready to take a dive and get a free kick for in the back. So I decided to make him earn it if he was going to stage for one. "The umpire called it correctly in the back and I said to the Umpire " First one he's ever earn't one in his career" Neville turned around and laughed and so did the umpire. Good bloke caught up after the game with him for a few quite ones.

Going back many many moons ago, Prospect Oval, North Vs South

Out on the oval a after the players ran out, toss was done and South were kicking to the northern end.

Mate and me running to the northern end and my mate ran alongside Peter Darley and said, DArley you are a piece of sh-T.

Darley grabbed him, asked him for his name and phone number, which my mate gave him (the correct one mind you)

Never thought anymore of it until school Monday when my mate told me that Darley had rang his parents and told him what happened

We both had to front to Adelaide Oval on the Tuesday to apologise, can never work out why I had to go as I did nothing wrong

patrick wiggans. interesting fella. was a cop and it got around and hence the name *piggy wiggy* came about. well... ever since he was called that he dropped his guard regardless.it spawned as he was running into an open goal with the ball in front of him and he picked it up and fumbled it and toed it into the post. of course we pissed ourselves laughing.... but his responce was better.it was gold. he couldnt restrain himself. we picked up on that the next time and gave it to him everytime we saw him obv...but he responded everytime. it became weird .to the point where we gave it to him in the reserves ... then he came around to the north cheersquad and said *now what*... i turned around and said maybe if u f....ed off u wont get flogged. his responce was... u boys do your job well. keep up the good work... lmao. job well done... and thats only half the story.he did leave prospect in the reserves in the middle of a game ;)
