If he was certain you'd think he'd pack his bags and left already. It looks like the weekends result has played on his mind a bit and you'd be mad not to stay involved in a club who is in Adelaides position currently and be rewarded financially for it. You're a long time retired go back up there then and make river gum homes build him a house to retire in .
If he does stay then the bond between this group must be very strong because that would have meant 4 VERY good footballers in Tippett, Walker, Dangerfield, Sloane have stayed put when they were free to walk.
With Jacobs and Talia plus other options down back we are building a very strong side for the next 5-7 years....

There is no guarantee he would end up at sydney. Gold coast and lions would pick him up in the preseason draft if no suitable trade is made. If he leaves Queensland clubs have more to offer in a trade.
