Kirk to eagles apparently definant.apparently close to signing ainger from south and maybe another south player aswell as a ruckman from west?????

Kirk would be a really good 'in' for the eagles IMO

I assume you mean Ainger is close to signing for South and not the eagles????

Just going on what i have read on other forums ;)


I thought I'd read that he hadn't yet signed with South but that it was expected shortly. That would be a massive in for the eagles. I thought he was fantastic this year.

I heard big Aing said he was looking forward to a bigger and better year with sounth when he got an award on Thursday night. Any southies at the knuckey cup that can confirm?

Lots of clubs chasing Ainger and you can't blame them but I would be more worried if I were a Magpie supporter - quite a few Magpie "guns" being tempted by $$$ from other clubs!

Don't be so sure it's pure $ rather the whole package of new coach, new challenge and win a flag straight away with a total one club focus, that's what is being presented as some of these guys are on good coin at Port!

Country clubs very interested in some of them too.
I know of one player approaching 100 games offered about $35k to coach a country club.
