could'nt agree more we were very disappointing as a whole on the weekend :x i thought the c.h.b was very unlucky not to be the best players and yes i reckon every goal we have kicked this year weve busted our ass to get were as other teams get so many cheap ones . we badly need that ruckman his 2 weeks off i believe even if he can give us a 50/50 contest in the ball ups that will make a huge differance to us as at the moment every ball up the ball is going there way and as a result were getting killed at the clearance's .

get your onballers to read off there ruckman or just man up

Remember when you blokes are putting shit on the umpires that you actually play for Peake.

For the last 25 years they have been the most inconsistent and underperforming club I have ever seen, apart from 1 premiership in 1993.

Two of the best umpires to ever umpire in the Mallee / Murray Lands leagues were Deane Lindner and Lester Cattle both Peake legends. Of course they and the umpires now would be umpiring to the standard and style of the Mallee Football League a completely different style to the Div 7 superstar umpires you would all be used to.

Seems to me crap footballers are bagging so called 'crap' umpires because a free is the only way they can get a kick.

there is definitely some truth in what you have said...
but the two umpires you talk of haven't really been umpiring this year, every week one of the mallee league games is umpired by river murray umpires which then means the league has two different styles... not one mallee standard that you talk of... there is also other factors to take into account such as new interpretations and rules which the afl has pushed leagues to take on which in my opinion has led to some country footy umpires struggling this year in particular with consistency...

all in all it has not been the umpiring that has lost games for peake this year, but they can discuss umpires if they want to, after all this is a forum and the aim of a forum is discussion.... and of course when youre winning you dont talk about umpires because you are content!

The only way we can get a kick is from a free hey ? you would know having watched every game i'v played? and where did i say div 7 umpires were superstars oh thats right i didnt and i must just be a div. 7 player cause thats where i played last year hey ? none of us have played higher grades have we ? you knowing everything there is to know would be aware of that i'm sure .

Thanks Floater, eloquently put.

It would seem when I need to speak from the heart I need to channel it through the head as well.

Apologies Carey, no one would be more happier than myself than to see Peake win their first game this year.
