Qld squad: James Hopes (capt), Cameron Boyce, Joe Burns, Ben Cutting, Luke Feldman, Peter Forrest, Chris Hartley, Nathan Hauritz, Usman Khawaja, Alister McDermott, Andrew Robinson, Wade Townsend (12th man to be named).

Id say our side will be:

Davey

hopefully Ferguson makes some runs this year, batting at three if he struggles again he won't be in the team long

Although I would rather Davey play, I am certain I read that Ludeman has been keeping in the practice games???

Ludeman made 1 score think, led to believe they may have been doing 50/50. Unsure though

But for this game we dont have an all rounder. I would say they will play the extra batsman.

Sam Miller has been the best performed in the pre season from what i have heard

Has Klinger been opening in the preseason?

If not I would play Miller to open, Klinger to 3, pushing everyone down from the original side predicted by FS.

If he is opening, Miller to bat 3.

Fergy is not great against the moving ball so is probably not suited to the number 3 position, but the way we usually go it wouldn't matter where he bats as he would usually be in pretty early anyway.

Miller will bat 6.

Maxy and Phil to open. Hughes fresh off a 140 odd in the past few days.
