I wont piss in your pocket but I'd say games are won above the shoulders, Bays were left wanting.
Intersting to see the turn around this week - could be a case of Jekyl and Hyde...
Quite a few injury and availability woes in Bayland at the minute meaning some suprise inclusions possibly...

Myponga did play well and used the ball alot more effectively. To be able to kick as well as they did was pretty amazing to say the least! To kick 17 goals 7 (I think it was) when about 4 of those 7 points were rushed behinds explains how well they were kicking. One bloke even nailed a checkside kick from the boundary line...in the pouring rain!!!
Will be interesting to say the least to see how the Bays bounce back this week.
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Can anyone shed any light on the Victor / Compass match on the weekend??

Were the Roos a bit under strength or are Mt Compass that much better than them?

I'm looking forward to watching them against the Hawks this weekend, should be a great match.

YoU recovered from your cold limb I hear Simmo might be looking for some xtra height in the backline to help counter Braidwood

Yeah Jimmy Batzavalis played for the Hawks for 3 or 4 years up until about 2003 or 2004 I think. I think when he first started playing for Compass he was mainly playing 2's due to work commitments but I noticed he's been playing consistantly in the A's since halfway through last year.

Yeah Roudy's back. He played in the 2's last week and went alright. Beefa hasn't left yet but I think he's supposed to be heading off pretty soon.

barry that could be due to the bays being a little off the mark the past couple of weeks.
i wasnt being rude when i said i thought willunga should have won the game against them.
huge match this week and will give a better indication of how compass are travelling. with the creeks carrying a few injuries it may be the opening they need.
