Scoob, Dane Swan or Gary Ablett ever get beaten by their opposition player on the day? Never seen Van Berlo ever shirk an issue.

Cassissi or VB captain of my team, I know who I would pick everday of the week.

Swan / Ablett beaten - very very rarely!

If you haven't seen him shirk the issue you obviously don't watch him enough.

and Cassisi or VB poor arguement again... Scott Thompson >>>>>>>>> VB in captains stakes

Talking captains, Thompson is not the captain

Perhaps I should have highlighted these quotes

Perhaps I should have stated : that in my opinion Thompson would be a much better captain - at least he is consistant and leads from the front.

Stiller 100 games and only 26, he'd be a chance to get picked up by another club, maybe not even leaving his state... :D

Retirement #19 - Simon Hogan (Geelong)

Geelong midfielder Simon Hogan has announced to his team-mates prior to the VFL Grand Final that today will be his last game.

Hogan has played 22 games and kicked 10 goals for Geelong in his short career.

It has been well documented that the 24 year old has been dealing with some personal issues, such as severe depression.

Brisbane Lion Josh Drummond announced his retirement today.
Thanks for a great career Josh. If only your body held together better than a jellyfish, you could've been a champion defender.

I took special note of Jacobs cos he was in my ultimatefooty team. He'd struggle to get a game in a top 10 side TBH.

St Kilda have put their final offer to Goddard, less than what he was offered at the start of the year. Now up to him to take it or leave it.

as long as you use the term "gun" in the very very loosest sense, then he may be.

Midfielders like who? Jacobs is a defender.
