433 people have registered without posting once??

99.9% of those are legitimate people too as we go through and delete the "spam bots" registrations daily.
We did have the forum at one stage last year where you did have to register to read which had a big influx.

Also - possibly trying to get links on all of the country and city football league/ club sites would be a bonus. I notice that the Western Border League links to Big Footy on its site.....

I like that idea. But I'll leave up the linking to Dissident and Wedgie, as I know Sweet FA about computers - what I know is enough to do what I do with my stats at the moment.

I'm more like a "spare parts" moderator with my Admin role.

It could be done and I've tried to keep "links" to a minimum as there's only so much you can fit in the header at the top of the page. In respect to FootySA which is what inspired this site Ive tried not to cross their "territory" and keep this site as a forum, a few might notice that even the "home" page has gone now as nai and CA do a great job in keeping their WIKI up to date. I only started the info about trials, ins and outs, profit and loss statements on a separate page as originally FootySA didn't have them and we didn't want too many "stickies" on the forum.

As can be seen we have 2 "Preferred Links" in the header (Footysa and Legends of SANFL) which are both great supporters of this site. I have contemplated with the idea of expanding the site but I think both myself and Diss and the mods are keen to promote this site for just the forum aspect hence the removal of the front page. Having said that, this site is only as great as it is because of the huge amount of great people that post on it so we're always open to new ideas (hence the addition of the Political Forum).

Although struggling with time to even fully peruse this site most nights the Footysa lads seem keen on keeping their great site as relevent as its always been so perhaps a further link to their links pages as they've had most bases covered would suffice?

The non-footy forums on here are what keep this site alive.
FootySA would struggle in the off-season with people desperate to come up with ideas for "general" posts.
Each season, many would come back but many wouldn't.

The key to this site (SAFooty) surviving is the ability to keep people here year-round.

The good thing about this site too is there is a hell of a lot less bitching than there was on FootySA. There was bitch fights galore on there before this site started. I remember having a bitch fight with Wedgie on there once, which was pretty amusing. This site is a lot more civilised and I think we have a bit more respect for each other here than on the old site. There aren't too many rivalries on here.
