Codgers lost to the Nats while the Cards won again.

Puts them 3 games behind now,and also puts them behind Milwaukee in the wild card race.

Brewers the form team ATM but have the next 4 at Washington and then 3 at Cincy.

FWIW I think it will be Texas and Cincy in the World series with the Reds winning it at home in the 7th game.

Just agonised through the Tampa Bay v Boston game at Tropicana Field. Red Sox led for all of the game except the bit that counts, the bottom of the ninth! Fair dinkum following Boston and Essendon is a true test of loyalty for this sports fan!!

Crucial 14th Innings win by the Yankees over the A's today, 10-9
Tied at 5-5 the A's scored 4 at the Top of the 13th only for the Yankees to reply with 4. Bottom of 14th with bases loaded there was a terrible error by the A's 1st base to gift the win.
The Reds sealed the NL Central title today

All NL division titles have been decided with the Giants beating the Padres to take out the West. The race is on for the Wildcard with Atlanta & St Louis currently in the box seat

Go you Giants, if Lincecum can fire up for the playoffs the Giants are a real chance with their pitching.

Very happy to see the Rays bats firing finally over the past few days after some terrible non/lucky/low scoring games....

Hopefully keep the form up, and will be a massive series to finish the season against the O's...

Hoping they can scrape into the Wild Card slot and then who knows....

White Sox on the back of a 5 game losing streak give up a 4 game lead.

The Twins helped you out today, due to a rain out yesterday they played a double header against the Tigers and won them both.

Dont write off the Angels just yet, still in the mix and on their day are a decent outfit.

Angles have a lights out starting rotation. if they fire they can get on a 10 game winning streak. If tigers get over the white sox. look out. best line up in baseball. but Verlander will have to win all his starts. Ichrio is bringing some good On base presence and stealing bags. He could be a game breaker come play offs

Lucky for the rest of the AL sides that the runner up in the Central div will probably miss the playoffs. Only one of the White Sox or Detroit will make it. The Yankees have been mauled by the Sox this year and Detroit always beat us. Will be glad to see the back of either

Texas get a very important win over the A's to take a 5 game lead.

Beltre was clutch hitting a 2 run homer to tie it up in the 7th and then a walk off single with the bases loaded in the 9th.

God i am looking forward to the post season.

Padres 2 Dodgers 1 :D :D

Dodgers 4 games behind the Cards with 8 games left(7 for St Louis)

Wouldn't surprise me if the Cardinals kicked some ass in the playoffs again.

Tough road with 9 games to go. 4 back and have Seattle 6 times and Texas 3.

Still in on 2 provisos

Texas keep beating Oakland and LA handle Seattle easily.

(Texas lost in the 10th today)

Gonna watch Mariners and Angels in about half hours time.

Should be a good one with CJ going up against King Felix.

Seatlle have won only 5 of 16 in the season series.
