Should be thanking your grand finalists.
Who would want to go up to your comp to play on crap ovals? No one.
Top 5 teams in div 2 would waltz all over Mt Barker.

Div 4 club's as a rule won't entertain trials against Hills Central teams because they know they'll get destroyed.

I reckon Scotch or Unley would do alright against the average Hills Central team. No marbles in my head. Sorry if you hills boys have been thinking you are better than you are for a while.

Uraidla regularly play Broadview in trial games in the pre-season and have accounted for them comfortably. I would say Uri's & Barker would be competitive in Div 1 & 2. They would certainly play finals in Div 2 and probably be middle of the road-bottom Div 1. Bridgewater on the other hand would struggle to be competitive in Div 7. Most of the other sides would be middle of the table Div 3 sides. Lofty & Lobethal on performance this year would probably be Div4/5.
Having played in both SAAFL and HFL the game styles of both competitions is completely different. SAAFL seems to be a more man on man/accountable type football whereas HFL sides seem to play more zone based football.

Hahahaha.
Your better players come from a country league similar in standard to this and couldn't win a flag, yet you think all your fringe players would be able to perform at a level higher than what your best players xould in the similar league!
You poached country footballers to make the grade lad.
Enjoy your success but I wouldn't suggest going around trashing other comps as I think it may come to bite your arse when those same blokes leave you club in the near future!
