First four spots are already filled JS, Echunga,Kangarilla,Meadows& Kersbrook. The last spot will be between Nairne, Torrens Valley & your mob, so far as i've seen you will struggle.

hey magpie, are those scores 100%, i heard that barker beat onkas from an onkas person, was i illinformed??

uris looked pretty good yesterday and ron was right the 7 goals to nothing first term score couldnt be caught, but we did well for the most of the game to drag it back. but again kicking inacurately has cost us with the same amount of scoring shots. scottie sutherland is a dirty hack a bit of a scuffle broke out and decided he needed to knee someone on the ground in the head, soft as sh!t.. tosser of a bloke. still very confident bout the season with a number of association players to come into the side- ross wait, flash gordon, matty stapes, aswell as will grosser, damien stapleton and billy baudin thats a very handy 6 players all would agree.

not suprised to hear about schultz again!! lobe should def F him off.puts a bad name to a mostly well respected club..
VOTE1 Tom Maslin for the seat of MAYO!!

Like I said JS, Maccy have quite often teased for quite a few years. But you havent been there long enough to know the culture. Come winter when it is cold and wet, training nights might get a bit lonely. Then you will have a handful of guys playing 2 games on the weekends.
I hope it turns around, but there is certainly no indication of that yet.

Will be interested to find out who you are mate as it's a bit of a running joke around the Macclesfield football club as to who I am

Being perfectly honest, I think a top five finish is going to be near impossible for Maccy but I do feel that Saturday's win was a good one all the same and show's that obviously Blackwood don't have as much depth in their club this year as they have had previously.
Good performance in the ruck all day from Tony Lynch who would have been a unanimous BOG and probably took 15 to 20 marks, which is a fair achievement from someone who is only a shade over 6 foot tall. Other good contributors were Lallard, Wilkey, Toffoli, Murphy, Julian, Wes Scott and the Wyatt boys. Certainly everyone played a part at some point.
New recruit and convert from Rugby, Will Tamarapa has been a very good player for Macclesfield so far and I would venture to say that he has one of the longest kicks in Hills football. He can kick drop punts 65 metres in still conditions and one of his torps towards the complex end at Maccy oval from a kickout on Saturday landed on the wing, just marginally short of the centre circle.

On a different note, thought it was interesting in today's Sunday Mail that in Ben Hook's column, that now has other contributors, mention was made of one sided results in HFL football so far. Not disputing that but they obviously aren't paying any attention to other country leagues in the near vicinity of Adelaide.

Let me tell you first hand Echunga are no certainty to make the Finals!! I honestly think Callington will take it up to the Demons! Maybe De Ja Vu as last year Echunga started well and then fell in a heap. Dont think Maccy can make the 5 though!!

I take that Tex then that your mob beat Echunga pretty easily today then?
Think that barring a bad injury run or players walking out that Echunga are an absolute certainty to make the finals.

What was the score Tex? If you beat them well, going by your logic, Kangarilla won't make the five either!

Would love a little wager on that......Maccy to make top 4, don't think so. You won't get past Kangarilla, Meadows, Kersbrook or Echunga, and reckon TV and Nairne have already taken your scalp. That makes you 7th, and don't expect Maccy's 'B' grade players to help out, as they won't wanna ruin their chances of playing finals.

Tex - did you guys topple Echunga? I can't find scores anywhere.
Uraidla will not be beaten at home this year. They were slick as anything from the first bounce.
And if people wanna talk about recruits, Lofty aren't the only team to have attracted some talent. The new guys for Uraidla are VERY polished and will be hard to stop.
Although Lofty outscored the D's 8 goals to 6 after quarter time, the slickness of Uraidla looks pretty ominous.
And GTS you're right, Sutherland is a f'n coward.

Defintely one the best things to come out of the Lofty vs Uris game was young Racer! To keep the big J Brown to only 3 goals is quiet an achievement! Especially for a player who is normally on the ball for the whole game. Have we found a new gun full back?!?

Yes we did JQ . Echunga were quite simply very unimpressive & deadset dissapointing. The game was over within 20 minutes & we ended up winning by approx 12-14 goals. Ryan Hunter dominated kicking another 10 goals!! Injuries played there part in the last quarter and we ended up playing the last 20 minutes with 16 players on the field, needless to say Echunga kicked a few goals in this period & didn't deserve to get as close as they did!!!

No LVIS Kangarilla will definately be there! Echunga started very well last year too but i do think they have a lot of work ahead if they are to be competetive come the business end!!!!!!!!!!

Good to see him really challenging himself and stepping up to make himself a better player.
