Nice picture Auto :)

Have clubs put in their votes for the 5 one dayers and 5 two dayers or 6 and 6 format? RPCC are for the 5 + 5.

Carey whats this i hear you are joining NEK. Isn't this the team that stopped you from playing in a final a couple of seasons ago because of a mistake in the book? Even heard you cleared it with the execs prior to the sat but they rang the association up to make sure u couldn't play?

i liked the 5-5 with T20's in the mix, cant see how having 6-6 is a fair draw, bit like the AFL, oh Crows yep, havent done anything for a while oh ok here's the gold coast twice and you can have GWS twice.....unfair draw......question.....who gets to play the team coming up from div 2 the extra time ???

having said all that i dont know how we voted, think i was a lone voice as most want the most cricket.

Is it true Marc Cossens was sacked as Para Vista skipper after the GF loss to Rose Park and replaced by Josh Vines?

Incorrect. Every club worth their salt has a succession plan in place as far as leadership goes. Merely the passing of the baton. We at PV give our many premiership captains the respect & appreciation they fully deserve. ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong Goatherder, heard there was a bit of unrest with a few of the vista players with the captaincy?

Not that I'm aware of PP, although I was slightly more removed from the playing group in 2011/12 than the previous 4yrs as club coach. If anything, it's the old story that all decisions in life are a lot easier in retrospect, and no different in this situation. Make a bowling change or bat someone in a certain spot, and if they come off & you win, you're a genius. If the exact opposite occurs, there's always a group of critics lining up to criticize & take a pot shot. Just ask a few AFL coaches that don't have a contract in 2013. ;) As an aside, I didn't hear any criticism whatsoever in 2010/11 when he led the Club to a convincing win to rack up Div 1 premiership #12. ;)

To be completely fair, our batsman didn't do the job and most of our bowlers underperformed in last year's GF. Not to take anything away from RPCC, they clearly deserved the W, but it makes things hard for the skipper when at least 2 of the 3 main facets of the game were executed poorly by the players on the 2 days in question.

Maybe a bad move by PV by removing Goat Herder as coach? Coached them to all their flags but after being sacked they lose the GF. :?

Incorrect. Was my choice at the time. Other over-arching responsibilities, coupled with the fact I could not dedicate the time to the role that my Club & the players deserved. This decision was flagged with The Prez a good 4mths before season's end (2010/11).

For the record, my involvement in premiership #4 in a row was virtually non-existent and minimal in #3. The leaders of the Club & the players overall must take all credit for their performances & successes. Had zilch to do with me. ;)
