Hilarious. We've already got a potent attack by the simple fact we have multiple goal kicking options. I wouldn't be concerned that much about Tippett's output, everyone else will probably be able to cover that. We could always get a back up ruckman or go with Jenkins.

Jenkins useful but so far from tippett its not funny. Hopefully crows win this week and tippet kicks a bag (I'm sure goals is the only measure you use for his output) and stick it up 'supporters' like you who jest at us 'going missing' come september.

We still have one of the best attacks in the league, that can't be denied. Unfortunately we just seem to have a habit of going weak at the knees in September. Would've been nice of Tippett to stand up for a change too.

Oh hello.

PORT Adelaide great Warren Tredrea has sensationally called on the Crows to drop Kurt Tippett for Friday night's home semi-final against Fremantle.

Tredrea accused Tippett of not working hard enough in the 29-point qualifying final loss to Sydney and said he should be replaced by former Essendon player Josh Jenkins.

Jenkins, a forward/ruckman who has played 11 games and kicked 11 goals in his debut season for the Crows, booted eight goals in a best-afield display for Sturt in the SANFL on Saturday.

"I would drop Kurt Tippett and play Josh Jenkins (against Fremantle)," Tredrea said.

"Jenkins kicked 8.1 on the weekend and I was really disappointed with Kurt's workrate (against the Swans). I watched him intently and he wasn't working hard enough."

I'm not sure about dropping him out of the side entirely, but I do think Tippett has lost confidence since his bouts of concussion.
He is not going in as hard for the marks in packs and does look hesitant.
So, I wouldn't rely on him to be the one taking the grabs at full forward.

I would hate to see him dropped, the last game we played against freo we won because late in the game Tippett and Walker started to take the big marks and freo struggled to combat it. Yeah he out of form but he will still take some of the heat off Walker up forward. Jenkins would be unlucky to miss out but I am not so sure we could go in with three tall forwards.

Crows vs Sydney 2nd Qualifying Final

If the Crows go out in straight sets on Friday they will find it hard to shake the "Chokers" tag

As a supporter I'm not putting up with "ahwell we'll get better next year" if we drop tonights game. We used to have a reputation of September specialists but over the past 8 years it has gone to s***. As one of the biggest clubs in the land we need to get better @ making the most of our September opportunities. A club of our recources 15+ years between grand finals is simply not good enough.
Saying that I beleive if we win tonight I think this crew of players have some character and it could lead to something.
I trust Sando to get these guys up and about and to our credit we have responded all year. Put up or shut up tonight plain and sinple.

Finally the Crows fans who walked out early last week weak as piss. These blokes have changed our fortunes over 23 rounds and we walk out on them?

Mark my words tonights response can be making of our current group. Guts! Determination! Character! We were ****** people @ the half way mark of the 2nd quater. Can't teach that! Tex Walker cops it on the chin and stands up and has the potential to have a D Jarman influence on a final.....

Walker can seriously play. He's a bloke who you love or hate but if anyone thinks he's a front runner then you are a spud. He had the yips last week and early last night. Wayne Carey had the yips in the 98 gf. He can become a superstar if he develops a mature mind...... I'm not holding my breath haha
