No you won't will be at Hope Valley. Like I said it won't be a triple header!!!!!

Are you happy with the 12.00 time slot? Not the 2.15 that they normally play, if going to change times, why not just agree to 10.15 and allow SMOSH a triple header. Either way your C grade blokes are playing at a unusual time.

A bit hard to have players supporters & officials there at 10.15 when they have to work.

Usually need them for a game. I'm the match day official and I don't finish until 11.00am and have to rush from Mile End to Hope Valley. I know several other players are in the same boat but finish a little earlier

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Pretty funny how all other clubs would agree to play a triple header, but yet Broadview is the only club that would decline. Smosh did it last year for Flinders Park, PAOC and Uni are doing it. Second time this year they have given a pissant excuse. Very Unsportsman like.

Back on matters at hand. the games on saturday were good. Full marks to Athelstone in the B grade. Did there reserch on Mitcham and caused in my eyes an upset. was a tight typical finals game with no side ever kicking away.

As for the A grade we got the jump on them in the 1st qtr and after that is was a very even game. with PNU maybe just in front. LAst 10 minutes of the game We ran away with it kicking 5 quick goals. As for Double teaming Jolly i would disagree with that. Jolly is a super forward and early dropped a few uncontested marks. After that i thought it was a very even contest. PNU has alot of young quality players and will be a force for years to come.

This week we get a chance. Kilburn has had the wood on us. they are a very even side with little weekness. We have to be at our best for 4 qtrs to beat them. From last time we played them we will have a few players back, which will help. Saturday can not come quick enough.

On a side note the club is very happy to be heading to div 2. Was a pre season goal for the club. We have a very young playing list (except a few) and looking forward to the task ahead.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

No-one. FOurth estate is just using it as an excuse to sleep in. Looking after his own backyard and no-one else.

hats off to PAOC for doing the right thing by Uni.

Hopefully for us the SAAFL realises that an achievement like having 3 teams in grand finals deserves the chance to have a united club on the biggest day of the year!

Golden Grove did right by us in 09 when we had 3 GF's on the one glorious day! \:D/
i know GG weren't wrapped about it at the time, but they sucked it up, and from memory their blokes hung around and watched the main game. it certainly helps gets great crowds in early!
just a pity i have to watch the video to remember the game :drinkers: :drinkers:

basketball background pretty sure he was on 36ers development squad. He then went over to footy think he played a west adelaide. It's a pitty he didn't have the size he has now when he played basketball. The interesting thing is he worth any points? Even though he went to St Mick's he never played footy there.

Yeah he was a development player with 36ers, then decided to play footy. Went over to meet with Essendon and had a run around with them, ended up signing at West last season, but was injured for 3/4 of the season, so didnt really give it a go.

If broadview were in div 2 this year and A's, B's and C's were all in the grand final, I'm sure broadviews C grade would have no problem playing at the earliest possible time so they can watch the other grades play.
But now that they are the only senior team in a GF things change
