I'm confused - I see D8 - SMOSH v Broadview at Hope Valley at 12.00
Looks like a compromise - 20 min drive between the 2 ovals

I though Broadview wanted to play at the regular 2.15 timeslot? This doesn't seem to suit anyone?

Well, I assume that when they couldn't agree, both had to give and take something.
They can play and the SMOSH blokes can go to Salisbury 20 mins down the road and celebrate with some Pag's famous BBQ.

I have no doubt the coach of Kilburn would of been at the game taking notes which will be passed on to the players during the week, i bet the players after every game this year would of had 5-10 beers after a game whats the difference.
I remember going out celebrating a sunday prelim win til 6am monday morning with a few team mates, we went on to win the GF the following week by 7-8 goals & i had a good day out with 7 goals.
You have a week to get it out of the system.

Who cares if they where out drinking a week before the gf. Would it make a difference if they where at the game drinking. Kilburn know what they have to do, and I'll say it's kilburn flag to lose. As long as don't expect it to happen I can see them getting the job done

i watched the first half of the SMOSH v PNU game on the weekend and was very impressed with SMOSH. The 2 Parham brothers have improved massive amounts since i last seen them and took some very handy catches up forward and will be hard to stop being 6'4 +, you would love roving to Molitor every week, PNU's ruckman was no were near big enough to go with him at the stoppages and he just fed SMOSH's midfield perfectly.

Are you happy with the 12.00 time slot? Not the 2.15 that they normally play, if going to change times, why not just agree to 10.15 and allow SMOSH a triple header. Either way your C grade blokes are playing at a unusual time.

Actually thought the same thing, once you couldnt get the game at 2:15 what difference does it make to play at 10:15?
Both times are outside the norm anyway?

good effort by SMOSH.
Can someone who was at the game tell us how SMOSH went about fixing up Payenham.
I honestly thought Payenham would win but full credit to SMOSH they must of done their homework on the Falcons & carried it out to perfection.

Smosh came out all guns blazing in the first quarter and jumped payneham and lead by 4 goals early which is what the margin stayed at for majority of the day. It was a very scrappy game and both teams had a lot of numbers behind the ball. Jolly from payneham was double teamed all day in every contest and only took one clean grab for the day. Payneham got it back to 13 points at some stage in the last quarter and looked like running over the top but smosh played it smart, put plenty of numbers behind the ball and caused stoppage after stoppage
