Will play for East Fremantle unless he is drafted again

Ross Lyon did bring him to the Saints. I think he would have learnt his lesson.

Thanks for the memories Scarlo. Around ten years ago our young team was trying to learn how to win games. The amount of three goal losses we had over the period was very frustrating to say the least as we just didn't have that killer instinct to get over the line. They say that you build premiership sides from the backline and Geelong did this with Matty Scarlett and Tom Harley.

When our skinny midfield was getting chopped up by our bigger bodied opponents time and time again it was these blokes (and sometimes Cameron Mooney) who fought contest after contest and who forged the heart of what turned out to be a formidable back six. Scarlo in his prime was almost unbeatable as Matty Lloyd and other scalps would attest. Barry Hall was another forward who struggled to come to grips with the great man.

As long as I have Blue Hoops in the house I'll always remember Matty Scarlett. Scarlo will go down as the third best Cat of all time after Senior and Polly.

Essendon had a real crack at him last year but missed out.
Reckon we will have another go at him but believe Carlton are also interrested

Those in RED- Spuds compared to Fraser
Those in ORANGE- On par with the AVERAGE MAN
Those in GREEN- Make Fraser look like a spud
WATTS is too early to call.
Josh played some very handy games for Collingwood- probably not quite big enough to be a (damaging) ruckman, not big-bodied enough to be a tall forward, not quite nimble enough to be a tall, athletic mid-fielder.

yeah, I was almost going to put an * next to Leslie- he can feel hard done by, but in the context of comparing players across their career, he was "low impact".
You could blame it on the fact that early drafts were different, in that they recruited matrue age, ready to go players.

Interesting one as seem to remember he was considered the clear cut no.1 pick by most at the time but got the impression that he was a pick for his time and the game changed quite significantly over the next 4-5 years to the point where he was rendered a solid player rather than a star. Obviously Pavlich the standout at 4 behind the solid Hasleby and dud Fiora.
