Talk on any country footy league or club from the SA Country area

moved on. whatever. 8) the hills div 2 leagues has umpiring problems and a comp that is totalled. too much between the top couple and the bottom few. that was the case last year anyway. im not bagging the club but there is not much of a club home feel when you play and train on 2 grounds. just dont feel right. as for a coach he is ok. from the old school abit but not the worst coach. everyone has there opinions.

Results-
IB 7 Goal win over Lobethal. Some 'slightly' questionable umpiring had a 'slight' impact on the game....

B grade and 17s had a good win aswell

Heard that Lofty were 5 goals down at 1/2 time against Uraidla, how did they finish?

Next week IB Vs Onkas at Thunder Park, should be a very interesting match

So Lofty reduced the quarter time margin by 5 goals but could not get back into the game ?? Were you there ?

Schutz for Lobethal up to his usual tricks. Should have got a red card but umpire has a tupperware party to go at Bridgewater on Wednesday so only received a yellow. If I was associated with Lobethal I would be embarassed, but then again he might get his just desserts before the season is out and most of us will celebrate.

Too true TDU..... Too true, he was lucky this week.
Changed his number but not his stripes.
Doing it all day, picked one to many then got droped, yet he got the yellow card the umpires must know, and then plenty of abuse from both sides supporters. Surely Lobey have some idea on decency and just move him on? We do not need this in Hills footy!

wouldn't go knocking lofty of yet. the onka game could have gone any way and they had an off day against uraidla. still alot of games left in year. they have just won the flag and maybe they aint playing with the passion they need to but will still go very well. don't think the recruits are playing only for the $$$$. i wouldn't be to worried about lofty last 2 performances.

as for shanty, there in more trouble than the early settlers. havn't recruited enough quality players to add to list. kluzek making shanty debut this week so should bring the spirits up at the club. interesting to see how he goes this wend.

Lets see what happens to them over the next 6 weeks. They have always had potential, and teased a lot of supporters.
I dont think Blackwood is any great win though. Cany see them getting near Meadows, TV, Kersbrook, Echunga, Kangy, Nairne. That would get them 7th at best!!!

So true about Schutz! Nearly broke young Schneiders leg with a trip. Then an elbow to muffys head, nearly knocked him out and was not even given a free kick. Then king hit Willy Muirden from behind after disposal. Only a yellow card was a disgrace. Surely the hills association has to take action against this idiot. Atleat young willbour got him a couple of good ones.

Promising signs for Ironbank with all 5 bests players 21 and under. Great start and wee up by 6 goals at qtr time only for Lobethal to hit back strong. IB 2 up at half time then slowly moved away before running home to win by 7 goals. Some of the worst umpiring ive seen in many years. 4 goals in the 2nd qtr to lobies can be written down to "dubious" decisions.

Interesting to see Onkas just scrape over the line against Mt Barker. Anyone at the game? Seems to be a much tighter comp this year. Will be intersting to see how Blackwood go against Lofty Uris and Onkas.... get a good idea on the comp once that has happened
