North were certainly the better side. You'd have to question whether, like West the week before, some Central players had their minds on next week's game...

A win against Centrals anytime is great, and at Elizabeth even more meritorious. Well done Roosters, now to try and replicate that form in the next few weeks as well...

Not a trolling question but a serious one, what is the win loss ratio when both Gowans play in the same team this year?

Great win North

What a tipsters nightmare this year has been in the SANFL

How hard has it been to pick winners in the AFL finals as well

South to finish off on a good note tomorrow.

North were a 10 goal better side tonight. There is a 25 goal difference between our best and wost. Thank **** the finals dont have the bottom 4 sides involved.

Nice symmetry to the final round so far. At the start of it, 4 sides fighting for 2 finals spots. Now, half-way through the round, it's back to 2 sides fighting for 1 finals spot.

Given the crazy results to this point, there has to be a good chance that one of the results tomorrow won't go according to script, and it won't come down to percentage after all. That said, we shouldn't ignore the possibility that it will come down to percentage because both Glenelg and Eags lose!

Our best is good, our worst is terrible. North can be a good side, obviously they don't have a problem lifting for the sides above them on the ladder. I had a bad feeling about this game beforehand. I thought we'd win but was worried about injuries and reports. Ohara the "only" injury, a bit of a relief in some ways.

North played well. They were harder, faster and wanted it more.

Not sure how we'll go in the finals. Our form has been all over the place this year.

We often have played well out there without winning. And of course we have got belted out there a few times. I have heard that Matty Slade as an assistant coach has been instrumental in North's improved performance against Central. Certainly in the two years he has been an assistant at the club we have beaten them twice and have lost by 3 points, 6 points and 7 points the other three starts.

As an aside has there ever previouly been a side that has beaten every team in the competition yet only has a 10 win 10 loss record. On the other hand West is the onlly team that North hasn't lost to this year.

Bloody great night at the footy, spoilled by a car full of morons outside the eastern gate before the game and drongo dogs wankers screaming abuse at Jimmy because he was in the right place to get the cod. If ONLY !!!! North could play with that intensity every week , I would not mind a loss every now and then. That approach at the body and the ball will get us deep into Sept.
Loved Kellers bounce up from a huge shepard bump on grabdstand wing, and the fact that the dogs usual pommy soccer chant could not be heard.
Bloody awful turnovers at times which need to be taken out of the game, ie Tomato slipping on a banana peel, Miles handballing instead of a long clearing kick etc,etc.. Having said that almost all played well.
Hopefully Glenelg after brecky next Sunday. Go U Chooks !!!!
It,s a Great Great Club, and the Club we Love, We,re the good Old Red and White

Over the last few years we have struggled against North even when they have been a worse side.

They looked like a side who wanted the win and had something to play for. We looked like we didnt want to be out there and protecting themselves from injuries.

Issue this year is the depth hasnt really been there so players havent had to earn a spot as hard this year example being i cant see there being many if any changes to the side for next week, apart from AFL forced ones.

Oh well we are in the exact same position sunday morning as we were yesterday morning, we have to win next Sunday.
