how about a whip-around, to collect money for Sturt, so they can purchase temporary fences for their oval? They can ask their past legends of the game to collect.

Fair call that they may be good & all that.
But seriously .... a Rolling Stones cover band!
...jeezuz where is the local flavour in that?

Spot on! A Rolling Stones cover band

Should be local muso Don Morrison (dedicated Norwood and Fitzroy fanatic)

If Norwood bomb out in straight sets again he might be the only Norwood fan there.

98 maybe? Might have also happened in 85 and 74 from memory.
As an aside, I'd rather go out in straight sets than win one then lose the next 2.

Nah, you beat the Eagles in the 02 finals by 2 points in the 1st semi. You were L - W - L that year.
98 you lost to West in the QF then got thrashed by Port in the 1st semi.

Don't want to include the result of the Qualifying Final, or forgotten already? I don't blame you for wanting to forget the year if you have.

At least the Doggies fans didn't get as unwisely carried away at winning their first final last year as the Norwoods in the outer. Some of them seemed to think the T.S. Hill Trophy is awarded to the winner of the Qualifying Final.

If a tennis player loses a 3 set match in 2 sets it isn't straight sets mate.

It's OK mate, if North get up Saturday night I'll be doing 15 laps of Elizabeth with every trophy I can find in the Grand Central, and that's only a minor round game!
