Why do people think that there is a need for "entertainment" at a sporting contest?
I don't go to a gig expecting to see a basketball match as a support act, so why should
I have some z-grade act try to 'entertain' me?

Ha ha. Bring back angry Anderson and the blue batmobile!!!

Another question will be who sings the natioanl anthem. Some of the ones in the past have been shockers. Put their own version to it, scream and it sounds like they got the microphone stuck in their teeth..
Best they have had was Julie Anthony on the replay of the collingwood/saints final. Came out and sang it how it should be. Very proud and no extra add ons

It should be made law that only Julie Anthony can sing the national anthem, I still remember well her singing it at the 2000 Olympics.

Good on the AFL for not getting some overseas act for the Grannie. They are moving forward last year meatloaf was off and set them back

Tim Rogers and Paul Kelly will be performing before the game, maybe one of them will do the national anthem.
