No they didn't & Yeah you do. North never played in the same state 2 weeks running until round 13.
No other team cops that.

Out of the bottom 10 Teams North played Essendon twice, Western Bulldogs twice, Gold Coast twice & GWS twice. That's a better draw than the crows and if they sell their second from three home games to start off the season to another state then you can't complain about traveling. They also played 14 out of 23 games in Melbourne. Damn cop that poor North Melbourne...

You totally missed the point. Never mentioned the crows (but you did, good on you). If the games we sold weren't mostly in the same block as most of our other travelling early in the year, I would never have mentioned the point.
Hell we got beaten 3 times by 2 points this year by ess, pa and wc. (weren't good enough)
The crows beat syd, stk and ess by less than a kick.
Reverse these results (and richmond would buy into this) and peoples perceptions of the draw change.
You make your own luck and the crows have done this.
Sooner or later it runs out though. ;)

As mentioned before, all crowds do it and they're more prone to do it if the umpiring has been a bit dodgey re holding the ball.
If that's what stops you going to the footy then that's pretty limp.

no a new born baby stops me from going...

Fair enough but it's not what you were intimating earlier. Hope all is good with the bubba all the same, congratulations.

All good mate, i was thinking bout going then but common sense prevailed... I was just being a smart ass. Got alot of mates who are crows supporters, who have been giving me grief this week. Gee i hope we win... My heart says the swans will win but my head isn't that confident... :(

With Grundy in its 50/50, with him out it's Adelaide 55/45, maybe 60/40 at best. Sydney are far too good a team to not work around the loss of one player.

Without Grundy - 70/30 crows way.... With Grundy 60/40 crows way....

The weather will have a large say in the result than whether or not Grundy plays...
Wet windy day will bring it almost into the swans favour IMHO....

Alex Johnson could step up, or LRT is the readymade replacement to slot into the backlines.

Grundy is a decent loss for us, but is replaceable IMO.

I'm sure Sydney can cover not having Grundy but losing one of your best defenders against a team with a good attack is a concern. If Sydney have to drop LRT back to cover Grundy it means that they can't use him up forward to try and stretch Adelaide's defense. However, you still have Goodes who is still one of the best players to watch in the comp.

In an alternate universe far far away, Freo could win.

In this universe, Freo's Mad Monday has been put back a week.

And...if Hawthorn don't pump us tomorrow night, they're either foxing, or not taking this finals campaign serious enough ;)

awesome... i'm thinking bout goin to the game, but i don't no if i can handle, the crowd yelling 'BALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL' everytime someone is touched, or when the ball hits the ground, or quarter time... well you get my point...

After seeing the age of the people lining up for tickets for the Crows game on the news tonight, I'd be suprised if they had the lung capacity to yell anything.

just shows we have supporters with no teef too.

Why not put Collingwoood straight through to the Preliminary Final. How the hell do they get an 8 day break and their opponent get a 6 day break at this time of the year. That is a disgrace.

Adelaide and Freo both get a 6 day break. Surely they could given Sunday Football the flick to not make this advantage so great.

Notice there was a Rugby test in Perth tonight? Why should a side who losses in the top half of the 8 be worse off than a side who wins in the bottom half?
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
