SANFL grand final - Pre Match

Postby leftlegger » Tue Sep 04, 2012 1:04 pm

Theres a bit of chatter going around about the AFL pre-match entertainment at the moment. They are going for Aussie bands/performers rather than overrated international acts.
Just putting it out there. I reckon the SANFL should go local as well.
There is no shortage of great local talent to fit the bill. And maybe something a bit different.

So what SA talent would we like to see fire up on SANFL Grand final day given their availability?

A few to start:
Hilltop Hoods
Screaming Believers (actually playing a gig this Sept. so would be in fine fettle)
Tracer
The Toss ;)
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

The SANFL have already sorted this year's out, Satisfaction a Rolling Stones cover band is on at sometime during the day. Seen them a couple of times, they're pretty good.

Satisfaction are playing 7 songs so there wont be much room for any other bands.

For good local content, the Bloodsucking Freaks would get toes tapping.

If we are talking cover bands surely you would have to consider 'The Dan Band'.
