Scott Thompson will be a chance now considering Jobe Watsons 2nd half of the season.

Swan, Dangerfield, Ablett, Pavlich, Thompson.

I think this year will be very closely run. Wouldn't surprise to see Swan win again. Had (IIRC) 6 games with 40+ touches and multiple goals in 4 of them, season low of 27 touches in the second last minor round.

With the following caveats :

Swan will get robbed of votes by Beams and Pendelbury.

Dangerfield will be robbed of votes by Thompson and Sloane.

Ablett will get lots of 1's and 2's.

Watson will pay for Essendons rubbish last 8 weeks.

M.Boyd? =))

Still think Jobe can do it.
Our poor 2nd half goes against him but I would think he would of polled votes in his first 10 games and reckon he had 5-6 BOG's in first 8 rounds. Maybe 20-25 votes might be enough.
Would think Dangerfield is the Crows best chance, fantastic season

Am I the only footy fan who doesn't give a stuff about the 'awards season'? Haven't been able to take the Gownlow seriously since they awarded the medal to Judd and Swan during the wrong years.

Those guys played well during those seasons no problem with that. The last two years have had a 'All Australian square up' feel about it.
