maybe some red faces at Eagle HQ last night. Word is Hamish Connor got reported at Booleroo Centre yesterday for whacking teen Travis McCallum in the chops. He came off with blood going everywhere and seeing stars but came back on and according to the paper this morning got BMW's best player votes.

Can anyone tell me where each NAFA final will be held.
I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. I can't put it down.

Country Div Elimination Final

Postby Sky Pilot » Sun Aug 26, 2012 6:46 pm

Dunno, but Broughton-Mundoora kicked Orroroo's arse yesterday. Well, by nine points anyway. Roo's in mothballs, Eagles a week off before the prelim on September 8

Minns is an absolute gun. I know the Shoes were pissed off when he left and I can see why. Played on the wing up here and moved freely around the ground picking up kicks. Was last night named at half forward in the Northern Areas team of the year

Yep saw it all. SF very ordinary against an injury ravaged Brook outfit. I think Broughton-Mundoora will serve it up to SF on Saturday. Eagles have some super players in good form. The Hewett boys, Nick and brothers Dylan and William, Tommy "Gun" Button, Leigh O'Donohue, Justin Tiller, Dan Baker and star quality wing/midfielder from Noarlunga Shoes Chris Minns who is a game breaker on his own.
Doesn't matter who wins though, I think Crystal Brook will go back to back

Dont rate flinders? I hear the great dogga is off to river murray league, wasnt an impact saturday and copleys last month see him in line to b dropped? Is that a fair assesment? If the tigers can pull together amd upset the eagles u dont see them being competitive?

It will be tough for SF to play three big games in three weeks. Copley is a useful forward who demands a decent back player to stand him. I still maintain Dogga is a class act and even at 50% he is better than a drone at 100%. SF strengths include Joel Palmer and Cody Turner on the ball and Shaun Jared, Ben Brown and Brett Ballantyne down back. Of course Simon Treloar is arguably the best small forward in the association and is good for 8-9 goals on any given day providing he rocks up with his head in the right space. Scott Brand is a great coach so they have it all going for them. I'm still on Crystal Brook though.

What head to head battles are we likely to c sky? Does a turner or palmer get tagged? Woodards across half forward tagged? Who are broughtons men up forward? If copley is selected who goes to him and brand? Is it worth a trip from adelaide mate?

I don't think you will see much tagging going on. Broughton's goal kickers start with Anesbury - kicked 5.3 against J-P coupla weeks back - Tony Sims, Nick Hewett, Rehn Aitchison if he comes up, and of course skipper Josh McCallum at chf.
I reckon it will be a good contest and there is no doubt there will be some biff and/or at least a good old fashioned melee which our umpies up here turn a blind eye to. Also, Gladstone's new complex is awesome. You can sip a few frosties at the swanky inside bar and watch footy out the eastern windows and indoor netball through the western glassed area. At one end you have the bar, at the other end is the food counter.
