The first week of finals is

Saturday Arvo crows vs swans 2:45 AAMI

Saturday night cats vs dockers 7:20 MCG

Sunday Arvo eagles vs kangaroos 2:45 Pattersons

Mr Demetriou said the fixture for the coming weeks of the finals would see the Second Semi Final involving the Adelaide Crows/Sydney Swans loser v Geelong Cats/Fremantle winner played on Friday September 14 and the First Semi Final involving the Hawthorn/Collingwood loser v West Coast/North Melbourne winner as either a day or night game on Saturday September 15.

That might be an exaggeration. Don't they have 60-65% support in SA?

What about the supporters of the other 16 clubs that live in SA?
Would love to know what % of the state follow a non SA side.
I know Collingwood was reported to have 6500 SA members alone and there are plenty of Carlton, Hawthorn, Geelong and Essendon members/supporters here. Id think a fair whack of them would be barracking for Sydney

Yes, but if crows have 60%, all the others combined can't be half.

I normally dislike the Crows but will be hoping they win this week, I'd much rather have the path of Sydney in Sydney, Hawthorn/Collingwood at the MCG then probably an easy win in the GF than having to play at Aami Stadium in the 2nd week of the finals.

Didnt know the Crows had 60% if thats the case you are correct.
Id think that there are more people in SA who are members of other clubs than there are of the Crows but thats not always relative to supporters.

Don't know how many times this has happened but every teams position in the final 8 is decided by percentage and only 1 game between every 2 teams...

If Geelong wins they will face the loser of Sydney/Crows in Melbourne. Then face the winner of Hawthorn/Collingwood.

i love it how some people think its cool to barrack against SA teams in their own state...
others i know, support Crows or Power as their second side, these supporters are just less vocal about it.

Just becase people are from SA why should they support one of the 2 SA franchises?
Many like myself would fully support us in State of Origin but cant stand the Crows or Power

I don't support Collingwood if they make the Grand Final and playing an Interstate club. in 2010 I didn't support either team and didn't watch either game.
