Of that lot I have Dangerfield :(

Plus he traded in Fyfe this week but that didn't matter either as later replacement Cripps came off the bench and scored 75!

Big knockout game this week between the two premiership favourites from earlier in the season (CoverKing and "I have a million trades left" Q)

Yeah Cripps being a late in didn't help either. I'm hoping I can make the GF and I'm confident I'll beat LL again.

Gotta get up over Q this week though first.

Provided Thompson and Dangerfield are starters, I think I've scraped into the GF by the hairs on my chinny-chin-chin.

Yes, well done Q - 21 points. Naitanui's huge win over Cox was probably the decisive difference between 2 similar teams (our backlines were identical!)

You may have had some luck in not being knocked out before now, but you definitely have the best squad in this League at the right end of the season and that is what counts the most. Classic tortoise vs the hare situation in regards to trades - something for everyone else to keep in mind for next year.

but as with everything in these subjective games there is no right answer, q didnt make the finals in the pineapple league as he didnt get enough wins early and couldnt make up teh ground late in the season

Yes, there is quite a lot of luck needed whatever your strategy.
- If you trade hard early to guarantee a double chance, you then need luck that you don't suffer any injuries to your more unique players when you have run out (or almost run out) of trades
- If you save your trades and only upgrade in time for finals, you should have an excellent team but run the risk of not qualifying for finals, and having to win 4 finals in a row - you just need to come up against one team having a blinder of a week and you are out.

Thanks Dutchy for organising the money and well done to Alaska for the premiership and Q for the runners up prize.

I've enjoyed the competition this season - the most competitive League I have been in after not worrying about leagues and just trying (in vain of course!) for the overall prize in previous seasons.

Now back to my preparations for next year ;)
