Surely Hardwick played a big role in him going to the Tigers?

looks like he will take over from hardwick, depending on results next season.

obviously he felt he was doing a lot more work and not receiving the credit for it, good ole Kev took all the fame

So, you think Richmond will win a premiership..? Well, Williams only did that on one occasion. As he walked down to accept the 2004 premiership trophy.

Strange move.

All he had to do is wait one more year and he gets control of the best young team in the comp.

I suspect it has a bit to do with him wanting to be involved with a club in Melbourne, being the main AFL city, compared to Sydney which is not an AFL city at all.

Reports here have been running rife for weeks that he wasn't happy not getting the job next year @ GWS. They said if he got an offer somewhere else he'd be out of there.....on the money.

No way am I saying they will win a flag or even finals. I know when he did it, just referring to tiggers being perennial disappointments.

I assume Mark Williams just wants to be head coach somewhere... anywhere... now...
I'd think GWS have more potential to be a good team in a few years.
