Think he's Hallys half brother, or something like that.

Mannum I assume then. They would be 8 points, I guess if they lost a few of their current recruits, they could fit them in.

But I would assume that if the Gowans brother do quit the SANFL they will be in demand.

I would have thought Meningie, but realistically could they fit them both in? If they lost McLeod could it happen?

Elijah Ware is very good mates with the Gowan boys and used to work with them for years so i'm guessing they would all be in talks.

Carn guys, enough crap about what may happen in 6 months time as i'm sure both Meninge and Mannum are more concerned about Sunday ATM

Can anyone shed any light on Harrowfield and if he will be playing this weekend? I think they will struggle without him but our form has been very patchy so definitely not trying to get to far in front of ourselves

Any news on Mannum or Meninges line ups? Any injury concerns etc? Be interesting to see who Meninge drop to the ressies if all points players are available

Harrowfield wont play and in my opinion he is our best player. Some lesser players are going to have to stand really tall against a team that stitched us up last week and on a oval we have only won once on over the past 5 years. Very tough assignment.

Did not go to training last night but have since found out your mail is correct. Harrowfield was on crutches early in the week hence my thought he would not play. Big dice to roll when he could rest up for another week. Risking injured players in finals rarely works. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Diddles Harvey may be a little dusty for Sunday's game against Meningie as he has the 1986 Angaston premiership reunion. A team which he captained.

I am sure Diddles will sip on a couple diet cokes and snack on a couple celery sticks, be home in bed by 8.30 so that he can come out and set the world on fire Sunday.

1986 Premiership re-union? Was it for U15s or is he a 43 year old?

Diddles turned 44 in May this year. Still super fit and very capable. Though he has saved some hard earned dollars by not requiring the services of a hairdresser for the last 14 years.

both teams not at full strength
Imperials missing Kowald (Imperials leading goal scorer)
Ramblers missing Rumbelow and Mason which wouldnt change the result alot but they would offer more height.

The quality of umpiring seems to be a recurring theme in the RMFL.

When neutral supporters make these types of comments, such as above, hopefully that will be enough for the RMFL to take the issue seriously and try to address it.

Broken record, Go and have a look at some other leagues the umpiring is no different, if not worse elsewhere. Get of ya backside and get involved yourself if you think you can do better. Without em we don't have a game, so deal with it I reckon!
